You can delete your Daylie account yourself in the app or on the website, or you can ask us by email. Deleting your account erases the information listed below, and it cannot be undone.
1. Deleting it in the app
Open the Daylie app and sign in.
Tap Settings (설정) at the bottom.
At the very bottom, tap Delete account (계정 삭제), then tap Delete (삭제) in the confirmation dialog.
2. Deleting it on the website, without the app
Go to dayliesimple.web.app and sign in with the same account you use in the app.
Tap Settings → Delete account (설정 → 계정 삭제) and confirm.
3. Asking us by email
If you cannot sign in, email gil4him@gmail.com and ask us to delete your account, including the email address you signed up with. Once we have verified it is you, we delete it within 7 days and let you know it is done.
What gets deleted
Your account details (name, email, sign-in information) and your settings
The photos you took and the information attached to them (time, location, place name, photo notes)
The hearts and short comments you left, and the photos you sent to your parent
Family links, your notification history, and the device information used to deliver notifications
What stays, and for how long
A parent's record has to be deleted separately. Other family members can see a parent's record too, so it is not deleted along with your account. The family member (guardian) who registered the parent can delete it under Settings → Delete parent (설정 → 부모님 삭제), and that erases all of that parent's photos and records.
Consent records and important activity records kept on a parent's record (who connected or deleted what, and when) stay until that parent's record is deleted.
It can take up to 30 days for the data to be removed from backup copies.
Deleting only part of your data, and keeping your account
A single photo: open the photo and tap ⋯ → Delete (삭제) at the top right
A comment: tap Delete (지우기) next to a comment you left
